So let's Wikipedia "coriander" and see how far off I am...
Ok, well, most interesting is that the name is derived from the similarity of the crushed leaves, also known as, surprise, surprise, cilantro, to the scent of bedbugs, in Greek, corys. Cilantro? Really? Well, yes, Cilantro, Dhania or Mexican/Chinese Parsley. Interesting.
The leaves are known to be similar to parsley but "soapier" and with a distinctive citrus aroma. But the seeds, ah-hah!, are warm, nutty, spicy, and lemony/orangey flavored and are commonly referred to as coriander.
Ok, so here are a list of some of my favorite scents that use coriander as a main note:
- Agent Provocateur (with rose and vetiver)
- Balenciaga pour Homme (with honey and incense)
- Egoiste (with warm woods)
- Chevalier d'Orsay (with leather)
- L'Eau d'Issey pour Homme (with citrus and cypress)
- Romeo Gigli Sud Est (with green herbs)
- Paco Rabanne XS pour Homme (with mint and watermelon)
- Dolce and Gabbana for Women (with floral and oriental notes)

Hi Marlen,
I've recently discovered coriander, and I don't know many fragrances that include it yet. Two of my favorites so far are Cacharel Noa and Kiehls Coriander. I need to check out some of your suggestions and expand my horizons!
