Scenteur7 has a new home...a new world awaits!

Dear readers, Scenteur7 is moving during the month of June and will permanently move to its new home on July 1st. Though PerfumeCritic.com (the new site) is still in the fininshing stages, I would greatly appreciate your feedback and ideas as to how I might improve it, visually or technically, and what you might see that I missed! Please feel free to leave comments about PerfumeCritic.com HERE.

I like the colours but the three columns make it difficult to 'see'. I realize it is still a work in progress but I just wanted to give my input. My eyes kept bouncing from side to side... and therefore I couldn't read a thing. Three columns works when the middle is the focal point and one of the side columns is all your personal info and the other is just for links. Also, you want to be using a smaller font in your side columns. Although my blog is a very different site, you might want to check out my 3 column format.

Dear Marlen
I tried to post a comment on perfumecritic, but somehow did not get through.
So, here's my comment....
I will add it to my blogroll, right after this comment. What I like about it: You dare to bring in quite some contrast. (Just like the natural perfumery guild site http://artisannaturalperfumers.org/)

What I would change: The upper black part, I would make it smaller, for small screens this is a little bit too long.
What I wouldn't change under any circumstances: The dragons. They are cool. A funny mix between tribal and Renaissance.

Rue - thanks for the feedback - I changed the format to just one column! It is easier to read now.

Andy - thanks so much. I made the body a bit thinner, but that made the posts longer which required more scrolling, so I set them back to their original lengths so as to make the text areas wider. I tried making the actual header smaller, but don't seem to be making the appropriate edits...I'll keep trying though!

thx, Andy!
