My opinion - I'm not crazy about Absinthe, but hey, I wasn't crazy about patchouli until Patchouli Patch and I wasn't crazy about rose until Voleur, so who knows...Definitely time for a new look - wonder what the boxes will look like...AND finally - the good sense to offer an EDT and an EDP...

Marlen,
The only reason I'm so excited about Fou is because one of the notes is angelica, which I adore. Of, course, I probably won't even be able to smell any angelica under all that anise *shudder* I do not like anise. :-)
colombina - I hear ya...Jour de Fete, Timbuktu and Navegar were all disappointments in one way or another, and I agree, I am not a fan of anise. So, again, I'm hoping that L'artisan will charm me with something surprising and bewitching. fingers crossed!
I like the re-design a lot better than the old bottles but frankly, Neither one of them move me. I think they're ugly and boring. And I'm still waiting for that L'Artisan that really moves me to the point that I want a whole bottle. I think right now, the one thats closest is Mure et Musc.
Mark - I kinda like the classy faceted glass bottles and regal gold caps. The label colors and symbols are also pretty cool, but then I'm pretty partial to L'Artisan!
The bottle designs don't do much for me but atleast they're glass and not plastic (eek!) or tin (ack!). I wonder if the EDT and EDP in this scent are as different as La Chasse aux Papillons EDT and EDP.
My favorite L'Artisan bottle is a frosted glass 9.9 fl oz. limited edition La Chasse bottle with green lettering and pink silk flowers wrapped around its neck.
The new bottle for Mandarine looks exceptional. Every L'Artisan should be that gorgeous.
Sali - that sounds lovely - I think the bottle for Ananas Fizz was "cute"...
Mark - yeah, I saw that this morning! I like the old style atomizer on the bottle!
Does this one smell anything like Serge Lutens Douce Amere? The absinthe in that keeps the lid on the sweeter notes trying to peek through - very intriguing. I have grown the true Absinthe herb in my garden before and I really like the smell of it. However, I never expected to see it show up in perfume, that's for sure.
Marlen, was the Ananas Fizz bottle the one that looks like a leafy-feathery tropical drink? It was so "carnaval". Cute, yes, in a samba-till-dawn way. :-) I just found a photo of a 300ml bottle of Un Zeste d'Ete--that's the same bottle that La Chasse once came in, back when it was a LE.
