Notes: bergamot, lemon, patchouli, vanilla, sandalwood and musk
Why should I buy it? Why shouldn't you? This is perhaps one of the most famous fragrances in the world, a timeless oriental that never fails to enchant. Yes, the EDP is richer, and obviously the Parfum is incomparable, but for this price, if you really hated it, you could always use it to deodorize your curtains!
*Tester, as shown, without box or cap.

Well, sure, if I wanted my curtains to smell like brake fluid ;) No, that is a tremendous deal, really - wow. Alas, I simply cannot personally abide or understand the EDT. Or the cologne. But strangely I DO enjoy the body spray which is ligher than either of those two - weird, right?
I'm a fan of Shalimar Light. Especially when layed with Patchouli Pure by Fresh. I wouldn't wear it alone in public, but I do spray my sheets with it!! It's heavenly.
Katie - I really like the body cream and the bath soap, actually!
Mark - I love and wear Shalimar Light.
Have been wearing Shalimar since the age of 16. The guy that gave it to me is long gone, but he sure had me pegged. I have worn and loved Shalimar for almost 30 years.
The shame is that you can obtain Shalimar for next to nothing! What a gorgeous fragrance to drop so far!!!
Deantiquer - By my math, and appraisal of you're spirit, you've been wearing it for....yes, that's right, 13 years! Glad you still love it...It's really the scent of my mom, and always will be...
I am the Queen of Guerlain, but somehow this one, the Guerlain everyone knows and loves, she is not for me. She spurns me, she laughs at my foolish attempts to use her. I should probably try the parfum, though.
RNOcean - Shalimar edt is everywhere these days, I wonder how that happened....I am always surprised/delighted/disappointed when I find Guerlain scents heavily discounted...
March - definitely try the perfume...it's a totally different creature.
